“What Ever!”

It’s Friday! So I’m declaring it “What Evs” or “What Evers” Day! Which means that I am throwing caution into the wind again…and letting my quirky mind loose…again.

Thinking about the letter “W” made me realize that some of my favorite movies, t.v. series, books and sayings actually begin with “W.” For instance, thanks to my brothers who last Thanksgiving made us watch a marathon of all the past seasons, we now like the AMC show the “Walking Dead.” Who doesn’t love all the Zombie killing and suspense? You already know that I am a big fan of Doctor Who, especially the episode with the Weeping Angels.

Growing up, I loved watching the movie “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factor” but I have to say that the remake is even better because it’s even more quirky and wonderful with Johnny Depp.

I can watch “What Women Want” over and over with a glass of wine and a piece of chocolate to nibble on. I also liked the movie “the Women.” I think it’s genius how they filmed the movie without showing any men until the end. I liked the movie “A Walk in the Clouds” with Keanu Reeves. Yes, it is a chic flick.

I actually liked reading “War and Peace” in high school. I use the phrase, “Who are we talking about?” a lot from the movie “Chicken Little” when I am changing the subject quickly and of course, I use “What Ever” when someone does some thing irritating.

Finally I will leave you with these two quotes by Woody Allen:

“The talent for being happy is appreciating and liking what you have, instead of what you don’t have.”

“There are two types of people in this world, good and bad. The good sleep better, but the bad seem to enjoy the waking hours much more.”

Happy Friday!
