Cheesy Garlic Toast (appetizer)


These are so good.  I had them for the first time last Christmas at a gathering.  The woman shared the recipe on the spot and it’s so easy.  We love having them as an appetizer on Spaghetti night.


1/3 cup mayonnaise

1 cup shredded Asiago or Parmesan cheese

1 glove garlic minced

A splash of balsamic vinegar

French baguette cut into thin slices

Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.  Spread the mixture on top of the bread and layer them onto a baking sheet.  Broil them in the oven until the tops are bubbly and a golden brown.  The average time is about 3 minutes.  Serve them hot for the best taste.
